A self directed photography project looking at the seaside town of Margate in 2010. The town has been a significant port since the Middle Ages and became popular with holiday makers in the 18th century. It's beach front train station, sandy beaches and amusement park made it popular until the arrival of the package holiday. During the late 20th century the town went into decline but since then attempts have been made to revitalise the economy.
