A self directed project from 2010 looking into the seaside town of Margate. For 250 years the town was seen as a leading sea side resort drawing Londoners to its sandy beaches. However since the birth of the package holiday abroad the town had slowly developed into a sad and unloved place by 2010. Plans were in place for a regeneration and an art gallery, creative types were heading there from London giving it the nick name 'Shoreditch on sea'. This project is simply a series of illustrations from the town at the time with a series of quotes given by the local residence. The material forms a 16 page A5 booklet.
Copies of the book are available for purchase as are individual prints, please get in touch for more information.
